In which we confused a lot of people

Hey guys, hope all is well. We feel like a lot of you have been getting confused surrounding the release of our new single (which is embedded at the bottom of this post, by the way) and the announcement that "These City Streets, Alone..." would not be available for much longer. Questions like "what?" and "why?" seem to be the most common followed immediately by "huh?" and "What are they talking about?"

To first explain the situation with the single- We are in the process of recording a full length album consisting of 7 songs of FVAV goodness with a bonus cover track to those who pre-order, not to mention it's a dollar less if you do, but we digress...We did not just release one song for no reason; this is just the first taste of things to come.
In regards to "These City Streets, Alone...", This is an album we recorded a long time ago when we were not nearly the band we are today in terms of writing, performing, and creativity. That, and the combination of recording under some pretty crazy time constraints (the whole album was recorded in 4 days more or less), Mitchell having a fever and sinus infection the entire time, and the whole band having no sleep whatsoever, have left us with something we just can not be satisfied with. We absolutely appreciate everyone who bothered to check it out of pick up a copy, but that represents probably half of what this band really is, if that. Subsequently we feel that with this new release the smartest thing we can do is disown our old album entirely. In the coming weeks it will start disappearing from Itunes, Spotify, and the like as we prepare for the new album. We hope you all are excited as we are, and that this clears up any confusion that might have been caused.
As always, with much love- FVAV
